Hope: chapter 3

Dawn

I made my way to class while thinking about the mysterious boy. Wow, someone actually helped me up for a change. The world must be changing. Stop it dawn! He's just going to pretend he's your best friend and then leave you hanging just like everyone else has.
My next class was art and I was glad. Art was my only class where I could express my true feelings and the teachers wouldn't hate me. You see, part of the reason I'm hated is because my mom was a prostitute. That's how she ended up with me. She had no idea who my dad was and she didn't want a kid so she just dumped me at a foster home.
The other part of the reason I'm hated is because I'm poor. Everyone in this town is either rich or poor. If you don't have the cash, you're usually hated. There are a few "poor" kids in this school, but they all have something to make up for it. If you're pretty, that makes up for your lack of cash. I'm nothing special so, yay, the world is against me.
Ms. Chen, the art teacher is Japanese and is judged for being it. Most student don't like her becuase they think she is dumb. Well, she isn't. She's actually really smart and the only person who gets me.
once I got to art class, I sat in my seat and got my portfolio ready. Becuase of my oh-so-popular status, no one sits beside me. I sat down and took my supplies out and started to doodle on a scrap piece of paper from my notebook.
"Hello, everyone,"alled Ms. Chen. "We have a new student today," she motioned to a boy at the front of the room. I gasped, it as him!
"This is Jordan O'Conner."
"Jordan," She tuned to the boy. "Why don't you go and sit with Dawn. "Dawn, please raise your hand." I raised my hand justb anough for him to be able to see where I was.

Jordan

I shoved my books ino my locker and checked my schedule. My next peiod was Art with Ms. Chen in room 296C. I hastily made my way to the art room.

Hope: chapter 1

Dawn

"Get out of my house now!" That was my 48th foster mother. I'm officialy homeless again. Ya-hoo! I rolled my eyes and I grabbed my already packed bag and left. I'd lasted 1 month in this hell. That's a record, even for me.
Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Dawn Armstrong. 16 years old and mute. I've been tossed around in foster homes all my life. I won't depress you with my life story. Let's just say I'm hated and bullied, let's keep it as that shall we? No need to explain to you about my parents either.
Well, no one likes me. I'm useless. Ugly. I Everone hates me. I even hate me. I stopped walking around and found an empty park bench to sleep on. It better not rain, I thought.
I fell asleep thinking about food and dreading school tomorrow.

Jordan

Beep, beep, beep. That was my alarm clock. Time to get up. Well, I'm Jordan O'Conner and I'm 17. My parents were out again-They are never home. My step dad's probably at a bar right now, and my step-mom is probably getting her hair or nails done at some super expensive salon.Ugh-so there was no one to talk to. After i took a shower, I ran downstairs and grabbed a granola bar out of the fridge. I gulped down the granola bar and guzzled some milk striaght from the carton. I'm gonna be late, late, late on my first day to a new school! I jumped into my car and quickly drove myself to school. I shoved my books into my locker and made my way to homeroom. I walked in just as the late bell rang.
